Helena Donadei Verheyen
Graduated in Sint-Lucas highschool with high distinction in visual arts & illustration.
Theatre costume design at KASK, Sint-Niklaas & a formation as seamstress, tailer & theatre make-up artist she works her magic on costumes!
In her early years she designed different theatre, circus & dance projects. In 2009 she did an stylist/costume maker for “Oud België”.
From 2010-2012 she worked for NTGent in the costume department as tailler, costumière & assistant costume designer, supervised by An de Mol.
Nowadays she works as freelance costumière, tailer & costume designer.

She was born and raised in 1992 in Athens, Greece.
In 2011 she studied one semester in the Department of Photography and Audiovisual Arts of Athens. Graduated in 2016 from the School of Visual and Applied Arts of Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, as of now she is a student in the Master’s Mixed Media department of Luca School of Art in Gent.
Within her artistic research she considers the idea of the images and forms and the psychological relationship between an artwork and the viewer. She creates installations of soft sculptures and uses photography and video art as well in a way to approach the subject of identity.
